The Little Cloth Shop
Caroline Stansfield of The Little Cloth Shop designs and makes vintage inspired childrenswear made in her Crouch End home using traditional tailoring techniques.
She has grown up with a passion for sewing and creating; her mother was a tailor and her grandmother a skilled seamstress. They encouraged Caroline to take up the baton by passing on the thimble when she was twelve.
When Caroline’s son Drake was born in 2014, she found it impossible to find alternative baby clothes that were also smart and traditional, so decided to make her own.
Caroline has a range of baby and children's outfits for both boys and girls with an heirloom quality
She uses only the best quality fabrics which can be machine washed, as it is important to Caroline that clothes can be worn and not just saved for special occasions.
Caroline's work has been featured in the Evening Standard.
