Muswell Hill Creatives (MHC) markets are becoming a regular fixture in St James's Square, Muswell Hill. Our first was held in November 2015 and we have held them twice a year and have recently added a new September date - details on our News & Events page.
We are now looking for guest designer makers to join us for our Winter Market on 25th November - a perfect time for the people of Muswell Hill to start their Christmas shopping.
Our markets attract an excellent passing trade from shoppers, cinema and restaurant goers, right in the heart of Muswell Hill. The success of previous markets has demonstrated a clear appetite in the area for buying quality products from local designer makers. Previous markets have included stalls selling jewellery, leather bags & accessories, prints, stationery, homewares, ceramics, textiles, clothing, children's clothes, knitwear and millinery.
As a collective, we take great pride in our passion for quality craftsmanship and our markets are carefully curated to reflect that ethos. We are looking for designers/makers who share our passion and whose work is a good fit alongside that of the MHC members.
We will look at applications from creatives based in Muswell Hill and neighbouring areas.
Cost: £92 for a 6ft x 29.5" (1.8m x 75cm) table. (All tables will be under gazebos).
The stall price includes publicity & event management, table and gazebo hire and Haringey Council Temporary Traders' Licence.
The market and the work of those participating will be actively promoted on social media, an image of each guest creative’s work will feature on the market’s flyer. The flyer is distributed in local venues and through doors on neighbouring streets. The local paper will be invited to attend the event.
All guest creatives are asked to actively promote the market and their participation on their social media, mailing lists etc.
All stallholders must be in possession of up-to-date public liability insurance and must provide a 'passport' style photograph for Traders Licence application purposes.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: FRIDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 2017
STALLHOLDERS WILL BE NOTIFIED IF THEY HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL WITH THEIR APPLICATION
