About UsMuswell Hill Creatives was founded in Muswell Hill, North London in 2014 and brings together local artists and makers united by a desire to create original, high-quality products through skilled workmanship. This small collective includes those who have had full careers in the creative sector, as well as some who have re-trained in areas they have long been interested in or have simply returned to an old passion for creating.
Each creative places a high value on interaction with other members, as many of them work alone; indeed, this interaction was the primary reason for establishing the collective. The creatives have their own businesses, but also come together to sell their work as the Muswell Hill Creatives. |
Who we are
|
The collective was founded by Rachael Booth-Clibborn with members Jess Albert, Lito Apostolakou, Liz Harrap Horton, Tania McLaren, Isabella Lepri Ceramics, Rachel Orme, Shelley Zetuni and Michele Wyckoff Smith.
Other members have come and gone from the collective since it began. One of the intentions is to ensure that the six monthly membership gave members the flexibility to use all the benefits of belonging to the collective at different points in their business' creative development. You can find all current members under Our Creatives and former members on our Alumni page. |
Our Mission
|
Muswell Hill Creatives is a dynamic collective celebrating quality local craftsmanship. It offers mutual support and provides a forum for exchanging and developing ideas. It aims to: promote the work of the group and each of its members; promote Muswell Hill as having a thriving creative community; increase sales opportunities; empower and encourage members to advance and develop their creativity; encourage those with product ambitions to achieve their goals; and celebrate creativity through forums and events, both online and offline.
