Hilary Sketches
After a career in HR and then a break to bring up her boys, Hilary Masetti is excited to be able to follow her passion and focus on her artwork. She has always been a keen artist after selling her first watercolour piece of her schoolbag at the age of 15! More recently she has been drawn to urban sketching through her love of detail and the beauty of local architecture in Muswell Hill and the surrounding areas.
'The process starts for me when I explore and take photos of local buildings. I am spoilt for choice around here! I love recording the amazing detail in buildings we pass by every day but can easily overlook'. Hilary's urban sketches use both ink and watercolour/watercolour pencils or ink and graphic pens. She sells giclee prints of beautifully detailed drawings such as The Queens in Crouch End, Muswell Hill Broadway and The Highgate Pantry. Hilary also accepts house commissions and has enjoyed drawing a number of different style homes from familiar Victorian houses in Muswell Hill to beautiful stone terraces in Bristol. hilarysketches.co.uk Instagram @hilarysketches Contact Hilary via email |
